This is a presentation on Recruiting Millennials in the Workforce. Rick will provide a short presentation on their demographics, workforce, and background. Following the presentation, he will have a Millennial Panel Discussion to share with us their job interests, priorities, and nature of a job search.

Our panelist will consist of Millennial professionals in the DFW workplace, all college graduates, and in professional careers. These young professionals are impressive and full of ideas! Come listen to them!

• To a Millennial, a job has to have more meaning than just collecting a paycheck. Millennials want to have a purpose to what they are doing and meaningful life.
• Millennial know everything there is to know about social media because they are living it. They are constantly perusing Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, etc., - it’s how they share and get information.
• Millennials are extremely team-oriented, enjoy collaborating and building friendships with colleagues.
• Millennials are waiting longer to have children and to buy houses. Making sure to be financially stable before making life-changing decisions is what makes millennials different than any other generation.
